A single-storey school in a wooded setting, where the cladding needed to hold its own against surrounding timber buildings without requiring the maintenance cycle of one.
Batten spacing was set to match the rhythm of the adjacent timber structures, and the roof was run in the same matt coating to keep the building reading as one object.
