Overview
A cassette is not a sheet cut short. Each panel is formed with returned edges on all four sides and hung on a concealed carrier, which means the facade is set out on a grid the architect controls rather than on whatever cover width the rolling line happens to produce.
The returned edge does two things: it stiffens the panel so a large flat face stays flat, and it creates a consistent joint shadow between panels. That joint is the whole design language of a cassette facade, and we hold it to a tolerance you can see across a long elevation.
Panels are produced per project against the setting-out drawing, including openings, reveals and non-rectangular units. Cassettes can be removed individually for access or replacement without disturbing the panels around them.
